Stan Store pricing in 2026: Creator vs Creator Pro, and what you get

Stan Store costs $29 a month on Creator and $99 on Creator Pro, or $300 and $948 a year. Upsells and order bumps are on Creator Pro. A $5k month costed.

These prices come from Stan's own pricing page (updated 22 July 2026) and its help centre, checked on 2 November 2026. If you're weighing Stan against a checkout, swipefast.io/stan-store-alternative puts Stan and Swipefast side by side, and Swipefast's 7-day free trial starts at swipefast.io/pricing.

How much does Stan Store cost per month?

PlanMonthlyBilled yearlyUpsells and order bumps
Creator$29$300 a year (saves $48)No
Creator Pro$99$948 a year (saves $240)Yes

Billed yearly, Creator works out at $25 a month and Creator Pro at $79 a month. So if you see $79 quoted for Creator Pro, that's the yearly price spread over 12 months, paid up front.

Is there a free Stan Store plan?

No. Stan has a 14-day free trial, and its pricing page says plainly that it's a trial, not a free plan. After the 14 days, Creator is $29 a month and Creator Pro is $99, or the yearly price if you chose it.

What's on Stan Creator?

Creator is the storefront: the page in your bio that lists everything you sell. Stan's pricing page lists:

  • A storefront that works on phones and desktops.
  • Calendar and booking tools.
  • Store and product analytics.
  • An unlimited online course builder, with course analytics.
  • Recurring subscriptions.
  • Lead magnets and email collection.
  • Community features.
  • Stan AutoDM, which answers Instagram messages for you.

For $29 that's a lot in one place. What it leaves out is what raises the value of each order, and the tools that bring in buyers through partners and email.

What does Stan Creator Pro add?

Creator Pro has everything on Creator, plus:

  • Upsells and order bumps.
  • Discount codes and limited-quantity offers.
  • Stan Payments, Afterpay and Klarna, and funnels.
  • Affiliate management.
  • Email broadcasts, email flows, unlimited emails and contact import.
  • Pixel tracking for Meta, Google, Pinterest and TikTok.

Stan Creator vs Creator Pro: which one do you need?

Pick Creator if you sell one product at a time from your bio and send your emails from another tool. Pick Creator Pro if you want an extra offer at checkout, an offer after payment, discount codes, affiliates or Stan's own email. Almost everything that lifts what each buyer spends sits on Creator Pro, so adding one order bump moves you from $29 to $99 a month.

What fees does Stan Store charge?

Stan takes 0% of each sale. You pay your payment processor. Stan's help centre lists these Stripe rates for sellers in the US:

  • Cards: 2.9% + $0.30 a sale.
  • Afterpay: 6.0% + $0.30 a sale. Klarna: 5.99% + $0.30.
  • A buyer in another country: 1.5% more. A price in a different currency from your Stripe account: 1% more.
  • Recurring payments: 0.5% more.
  • Payouts to your bank: 0.25% + $0.25 a payout, at least $1.

PayPal is 3.49% plus a fixed fee for the currency you receive. These are Stripe's and PayPal's charges, not Stan's. Every checkout that runs on Stripe or PayPal pays processing fees, Swipefast included, and your exact rates depend on your own account. What does Stan Store cost on a $5,000 month?

Take the scenario we use across Swipefast: one $97 product with an order bump and an upsell, $5,000 a month in sales, US cards. Stan needs Creator Pro for the bump and the upsell, so the plan is $99 a month. Card fees at 2.9% + 30¢ come to about $160.60 on either side.

$5,000 a month in salesStan Creator ProSwipefast Starter
Plan$99$29
Card fees (2.9% + 30¢)$160.60$160.60
Total a month$259.60$189.60
Plan fees for a year$1,188$348

Both columns use the same sales. Nothing assumes one checkout sells more than the other. The difference is the plan: Swipefast Starter costs 70% less than Stan Creator Pro in this scenario. Paid yearly, Creator Pro is $948 and Starter is $290.

Swipefast takes 0% of your sales. The one exception is sales tax: if you connected Stripe through Swipefast, it adds 0.2% on each order where it works out the tax. With your own pasted Stripe keys there's no Swipefast fee, and checkouts with tax switched off stay at 0%.

If you don't need a bump or an upsell, the price is the same: Stan Creator and Swipefast Starter are both $29 a month. Then the choice is about what kind of tool you want, not the price.

Who should stay on Stan Store?

Stan is built for selling from a social bio. One page holds your products, bookings, courses and community, AutoDM answers Instagram messages, and Creator Pro adds email broadcasts. If most of your buyers find you on Instagram or TikTok and like to browse, that's hard to beat, and Creator at $29 is a fair price for what's in it.

Swipefast is a checkout, not a storefront. There's no bio page that lists everything, no booking calendar and no community. Each product gets its own checkout link, which you put in your bio, your emails or your website, and after paying, buyers go to your download, your course or your booking link. Starter at $29 a month has unlimited order bumps, one-click upsells and downsells in chains of up to 5 offers, payment plans and subscriptions, discount codes, Klarna, Afterpay and Affirm, and sales tax with Stripe Tax. Pro at $49 adds affiliates and your own domain. Buyers go to your email tool (Kit, Mailchimp, MailerLite and others), and Claude or ChatGPT can build the checkout for you.

You can also use both. Keep Stan for your bio page and send one offer to a Swipefast checkout when you want a bump and an upsell on it without paying for Creator Pro. swipefast.io/stan-store-alternative compares the two row by row, and swipefast.io/blog/stan-store-alternatives-for-coaches-and-creators covers the other routes, such as ThriveCart, SamCart and Spiffy.

How do upgrades, downgrades and cancelling work on Stan?

  • Moving up from Creator to Creator Pro, or from monthly to yearly, is prorated, and Stan charges the rest straight away.
  • Once you're on Creator Pro, you can't downgrade for 30 days unless you contact Stan's support.
  • A downgrade starts at the end of the billing cycle you paid for, so a yearly plan stays until the year is up.
  • If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the billing cycle. Then your store goes offline, but Stan keeps your products, analytics and emails, and buyers keep the courses they bought while those courses stay saved.
  • There's no pause option, and Stan doesn't cancel your members' subscriptions for you. Cancel them yourself, or they keep being charged.

FAQ

Questions people ask before choosing

Is Stan Store cheaper if you pay yearly?

Yes. Creator is $300 a year instead of $348, and Creator Pro is $948 instead of $1,188. That's $48 and $240 less than paying monthly, paid up front.

What does Stan Store cost in the UK, Canada or Australia?

Stan's pricing page shows $29 and $99 a month, and we didn't find a separate price list for other countries. Card fees do change by country. Stan's help centre lists 1.5% + £0.20 a card sale in the UK, 2.9% + 30¢ in Canada and 1.75% + A$0.30 in Australia, with Afterpay at 6.0% in all three.

How is Swipefast's free trial different from Stan's?

Stan's free trial is 14 days. Swipefast's is 7 days and needs a card; cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing. During Swipefast's trial your checkouts take practice payments only, so you can test every step. Real payments start when your plan does.

Can I move from Stan Store to Swipefast?

Yes, but there's no Stan importer. You create each product as a checkout, or ask Claude or ChatGPT to build them from your product details. Active subscriptions don't move between tools on their own, so plan how your members will rejoin before you cancel Stan.

When were these prices checked?

On 2 November 2026, from Stan's pricing page (updated 22 July 2026) and its help centre. Stan can change its prices at any time, so check stan.store before you buy.
