What's on SamCart Core?
Core is for getting a product online. It builds checkouts, sales pages and link-in-bio pages, includes SamCart's courses app and members area, and takes payments through SamPay, Stripe or PayPal. It has one team seat, and checkouts carry SamCart's branding. What it leaves out is what raises your order value: SamCart's plan guide marks order bumps, one-click upsells and the affiliate centre as Pro only.
What does SamCart Pro add?
- Order bumps, one-click upsells and A/B tests.
- The affiliate centre, Subscription Saver and a customer portal.
- Your own branding on checkouts, and a third-party payment processor if you want one.
- A lower tax collection fee: 0.35% instead of 0.5%.
Does SamCart take a cut of your sales?
SamCart adds no platform fee on any plan. Card processing through SamPay is 2.9% + 30¢ a sale, the same as Stripe's standard US rate. If SamCart collects sales tax for you, it charges 0.5% on Core or 0.35% on Pro and Enterprise.
What does SamCart cost on a $5,000 month?
Take the scenario we use across Swipefast: one $97 product with an order bump and an upsell, $5,000 a month in sales, US cards. You need Pro for the bump and the upsell, so SamCart is $199 a month. Card fees are about $160.60 on SamPay or on Stripe. That's about $359.60 a month, or $2,388 a year in plan fees alone.

Both columns use the same sales. Nothing assumes one checkout sells more than the other. The difference is the plan fee: Swipefast Starter costs 85% less than SamCart Pro in this scenario, and it has unlimited order bumps and upsell chains of up to 5 offers. Its only cut is 0.2% on orders where you switch on automatic sales tax.
Who should pay for SamCart?
SamCart makes sense if you want checkout, sales pages and courses in one account and you'll use Pro's tools every month. It's a mature product with a large team, and Enterprise suits a business that needs many seats and a dedicated contact.
If you mainly need a checkout with bumps and upsells, $199 a month buys a lot you may not use. Swipefast Starter is $29 a month and Pro, with the affiliate centre and your own domain, is $49.
